This Christmas I am finding myself feeling a little extra joyful. I feel like this is the first year I'm really experiencing Christmas through my children's eyes. Jett is finally old enough to understand a little about presents and Santa and we've told him many times the story of Jesus in the manger. Having baby Jane so recently has also forced me to slow down this Holiday season. The past few years I have crammed my December's full of every single Holiday activity and event possible but with a new baby it's been harder to do. I've had to "let go" of a lot of things and focus on what really matters. My favorite memories of this season will not be presents and parties but picking out our first "real" Christmas tree, taking Jett sledding for the first time, baking my gingerbread house with my family and watching Jane's eyes light up as she looks at our Christmas tree. It has been a special Christmas indeed!

I am continually grateful for each and every person who reads this blog. I hope you are all enjoying a magical Holiday season with those that you love. And if you are wanting to remember the real reason for the season this year may I suggest you watch this video.

I'll be signing off for a few days to make some more magical memories with my kiddos. To keep up with all my Holiday happenings follow me on instagram @kirstenkrason

Feature Friday Holiday Homes Part 3

By Unknown | At 3:00 AM | Label : | 0 Comments

Today is our last installment of Holiday Homes.  I have loved seeing how each of these woman has decorated so differently. Each has their own take and ideas on decorating for the Holidays.

I love how Amanda from Amanda Carol at Home uses touches of gold and green in her Holiday decor.

Lauren Leonard from The Cottage Mix was featured on my blog here. She has a beautiful and classic taste that is reflected in her Holiday decorating style.

I featured Irene's home from Designstiles here. She put together a fun and colorful Holiday table setting that she blogged about here

These next photos come from Dawn of the blog Designing Dawn. Her daughter's nursery was featured on my blog here

I loved featuring Jerusalem's home. You can see her whole home tour here.  She has such a funky and vintage design style and her Holiday decor totally reflects that!

Amber from Simple Dwellings added some small Holiday touches to spruce up her home for Christmas!

The evergreen was trimmed from Amber's tree in her front yard! The art was switched out for holiday themed paper.

The ceramic stag was on a great sale at Target.

You may remember Jessica's stunning home tour featured here. Her and her family celebrate Hanukkah  and she has a really pretty Menorah from West Elm.

You can read about her Holiday decorating here.

Next up is Sara's Holiday decor from Russet Street Reno who I featured here

I featured Jane's home tour here and her Holiday decor is just as cute as the rest of her house!

See more of her Holiday home at her blog here

That concludes our Feature Friday Holiday Homes. See past Holiday Home Tours here and here.
