Feature Friday: Project Home

By Unknown | At 4:00 AM | Label : , , | 0 Comments

Today I am featuring the home of Nikki from the blog Project Home. Here's how she describes her design style:

"I would express my design style as classic with a bohemian twist. I like textiles and texture that can co-exist with ease to enhance the emotion of a room. My goal is to design homes that are welcoming and not too fussy…a place where people are able to gather and are reminded of the simple joy of friendship."

Enjoy!

Living Room Reveal

By Unknown | At 4:00 AM | Label : , | 0 Comments

This is a living room that I finished up last winter. I don't have any before pictures of the space but it was pretty much a blank slate. The sofas were already there but we needed lots of other things. Like accessories!

I really loved how the room turned out.

The coffee table is by Nate Berkus for HSN. It has since been discontinued. The draperies are from Pottery Barn.

The bleeker and the chaing mai pillow were bought on Etsy. The navy chevron is from Deco Yellow

My client is a world traveler and she bought these botanicals in Paris. Beautiful!

My client had that beautiful painting of Prague that she bought while she was there and we decided to put it on the shelf. I love that it is the only color on there so it really stands out.

The sunburst mirrors are from Ballard Designs. The blue vase is from West Elm.

I hope you liked it!

Tomorrow I am going to be revealing a really fun living room with you. I thought I'd get you excited by showing you a sneak peak.

This is the board I created for the room.

We also used this stunning bookshelf as inspiration. All whites, silvers and golds. I love how simple it is.

Here is a little sneak peak....

But you'll have to tune in tomorrow to see the reveal!

Lattice Love at PB Teen

By Unknown | At 7:55 AM | Label : | 0 Comments

I am in love with this new lattice rug from PB teen.

I really love the neutral taupe pattern.

I also love these chairs in the same pattern.

I also love the pattern in drapes although I wish it was little bigger.

Check out all of PB Teen's new stuff here

Gadanke Journal Review

When I was in High School I was a HUGE journaler. I am talking like every single day I was writing in my journal. So when Katie from Gadanke asked me to review one of her handmade journals I was really excited.

I chose to review her become journal.

I have had a lot of fun filling out the pages with creative ideas and goals. Each page has a writing prompt. You can customize these journals by adding whatever you want.

There are so many journals to choose from plus they are all made from %100 recycled papers!

Living Room Done by Lauren

By Unknown | At 7:01 AM | Label : | 0 Comments

My amazing intern Lauren just moved away to California last week. It was a bittersweet moment for me. Bitter because she has been SO great to work with and an incredible friend and I'm going to miss her. But it was sweet because she is really excited about the move and I know great things are ahead for her.

I had the chance to photograph one of her recent projects before she left.

If the chance allows I love to give my interns the chance to work on their own projects. This is something that I would have found invaluable as an intern.

She did an amazing job on this room.

Check out the before and after as well as more pictures here

Lauren is really great to work with. Contact her if you are looking for a talented designer if California! She also does E-design.
